Method
Warm water and add yeast and sugar. I used 1 packet of Rapid Action Yeast. Wait till you see froth to ensure that yeast is good.
Take flour, olive oil, yeast mixture, milk, egg, sugar and 1 tsp salt in a mixing bowl. Gently mix it into a smooth dough. Add more water if required.
Keep the dough in a warm place to double in size. Mine took around 2 hrs. Meanwhile lets make the filling.
Heat oil in a pan and add ginger garlic paste.
Add onion and green chilly.

Saute till they start changing color.
Add shredded chicken & masala powder.
Saute for a min or two. Add chopped capsicum, saute for a min or two. We don't want to lose the crunchiness of capsicum. So remove from the flame and let it cool.
When the dough double its size, divide it into 10 to 12 equal lemon size ball
Flat each portion with your palm and fill it with the chicken mixture.
Roll it back into a ball shape.
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit. Place the filled dough on an oven tray and wait for about 30 mins. The dough increase in size.
Place them in the medium/high level in the oven. It may take about 12 mins. Before that, once the buns starts to change color brush it with egg white.
After 3-4 mins the buns will be golden brown in color.
Take them out and allow it cool and then go for those yummy buns.

PS:-
  • I used a standard 250 ml measuring cup.
  • Instead of olive oil you can use refined oil for dough.
  • The same recipe with more sugar & no filling will be good sweet buns.
  • Due to variation in oven temperature, baking time may change.
