Pepper chicken fry

Pepper chicken fry is an easy starter that can win you guaranteed applause all the time. Its a spicy dry dish with pepper and red chilly powder. You can serve it with lemon wedges and onion rings. Also it can be a side dish for Indian breads like chapati, rumali roti, kerala Paratta( porotta) etc.

Preparation time- 20 mins

 
Ingredients

Chicken- 2 leg pieces small sized
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder- 1 tsp
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Cornflour- 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
Oil required for frying

Method
Make a fine paste with all the powders and lemon juice. Apply on chicken pieces and keep aside for atleast 10 mins.


Heat oil in a pan & deep fry chicken until they turn dark brown. Serve it hot.

PS:-
  • I used coconut oil for frying, You can use any refined oil.
  • If you are using kashmiri chilly double the quantity.
